DAI is implementing the USAID/Lebanon Trade and investment Facilitation (TIF) Activity, which will facilitate the export of Lebanese goods and services to generate foreign exchange through investments and business enabling environment reform that simultaneously promote job creation, income generation, and improved livelihoods throughout the country. TIF has three objectives: 1) increased exports of Lebanese goods and services, 2) investment facilitation leading to increased domestic investment, and 3) improved business and investment enabling environment. Communicating results through outreach and sharing knowledge with private and public sectors is a crosscutting objective.

Job Description

  • Assist with the daily operations of project administration, logistics, and human resources in compliance with USAID and DAI rules and regulation.
  • Manage inventory for the project in the database, ensure proper branding and marking is complete.
  • Book and manage all accommodation logistics for international visitors.
  • Assists in the coordination of logistics for meetings and events.
  • Assist in distribution and collection of employees’ timesheets.
  • Manage petty cash in compliance with DAI policies, ensuring all necessary paperwork in place.
  • Manage time of project drivers and respond to internal travel requests as needed.
  • Build capacity of the drivers in administrative tasks such as managing travel requests, vehicle log records, vehicle maintenance records, and time keeping.
  • Approve vehicle logbooks.
  • Assist with maintaining files according to DAI policies.
  • Manage relationships with service providers, hotels, car rentals, air travel, internet, and telecommunications.
  • Answer phone calls and welcome guests to TIF office.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in administration or customer service.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral – in English and Arabic
