Job Summary:

Develops, executes and monitors online media plans for advertising clients. Purchases and places online advertising as well as provide strategic oversight to campaigns. Responsible for the implementation of campaigns using buying software and the agency ad server. It also conducts post-buy media analysis, and tracks and reports on results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides day-to-day support for clients

  • Oversees and manages client budgets

  • Develops online media buying strategies

  • POV writing and media recommendations

  • Executes plans through negotiation and placement

  • Facilitates performance management and make-good approval

  • Leads compilation of campaign performance reporting

  • Leads decisions and approvals for campaign optimization

  • Assists Media Director and Associate Media Director

  • Conducts new business research

  • Traffics campaigns

  • Approves vendor invoices with the assistance of the media coordinator

  • Approves media invoices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3-5 years experience in digital media planning and buying
