Job Description
The Media Account Manager role leads the digital media content creation and sales for all clients’ social media platforms, works with media team handling clients’ media needs and requirements, and is responsible for bringing in new business and maintaining healthy client relationships.
The position is responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative content for ‘always-on’ and campaign content for Social media; LinkedIn Life Page creation and crafting, LinkedIn Media solutions content, landing pages, ad content, website content, web pages, provide content briefs (including art direction of photography) for our in-house designer to complete, and briefs on digital media graphics and designs.
The role’s main focus is after generating new business leads and securing them, selling Kaizen and LinkedIn products, and maintaining client relationships. The Media Account Manager will report to the Head of Media, Middle East and works closely with the Head of Sales, LinkedIn team, and Kaizen’s recruitment team.
Qualifications
· Translate LinkedIn and non-LinkedIn campaign ideas to socially relevant, hyperlocal, efficient & effective content on social media platforms and offline graphics while maintaining consistency of brand, tone of voice, and creative across digital client touch points
· Create layouts, icons, info-graphics etc. that will be used within our products.
· Develop content that adheres to in-house content standards and style guides.
· Work closely with other animators to maintain consistency within and across projects.
· Participate in on-screen reviews and implement team and client feedback.
· Report progress in daily scrums and escalate issues to management as required.
· Work with other functional areas to ensure effective continuous improvement.
· Continually research and learn new design software and methods to keep up-to-date with industry standards.
· Drive customer value and meet media sales targets by bringing in new business through effective selling of Kaizen and LinkedIn services
· Meet regularly with LinkedIn Relationship Managers and LinkedIn Media Team to bring in new accounts, follow-up on current ones and build a strong relationship with them
· Create reliable forecasts and be completely transparent with management on your pipeline status
· Constantly able to come up with sales solutions and creative methods to securing leads
· Ability to function in an environment that combines transactional volume and strategic solution sales offerings
· Build a collaborative and strong relationship with LinkedIn Teams to achieve common objectives
· Brainstorm, write, and produce ‘always-on’ content for key campaigns for all Social Media handles and their respective products i.e. Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn & YouTube. While some projects may require directing external resources, the role is expected to be hands-on
· Draft, master, and finalize content for LinkedIn company Life Pages and LinkedIn profiles according to client briefs, objectives, and direction
· Compose and craft content for ads, especially for LinkedIn media solutions (sponsored updates and Pipeline Builder landing pages and ads), and all other social media platforms
· Be the first to learn on the new developments on the Social front, especially on LinkedIn, feed the media team and take actions accordingly on Content & Media
· Work with media team on customized content creation for employer branding projects
· Report and evaluate on social media presence and performance on a monthly and campaign-by-campaign basis using different tools and analytics
