Job Description
DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the delivery of complex, enterprise IT services for our global clients. This role blends strategic program leadership with hands-on client engagement to drive measurable business value through modernization, cloud, security, data, and application services. You will influence outcomes across multiple cross-functional teams and ensure that programs align with client strategies while advancing DXC’s market leadership in enterprise technology services. This position offers visibility at the executive level, the opportunity to shape large-scale transformations, and a path toward broader leadership within the organization.
As a Senior Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for strategically important programs. You will guide and synchronize efforts across delivery leads, architecture, engineering, operations, solutions, sales, and client success to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality outcomes. You will establish governance structures, define program milestones and success metrics, manage risk and issue resolution, and optimize resource allocation and vendor partnerships. You will translate client goals into actionable roadmaps, prioritize competing demands, and drive continuous improvement through repeatable delivery patterns and robust reporting. Your decisions will balance client value, technical feasibility, risk, and DXC capabilities to deliver sustainable outcomes for large enterprise environments.
This role is highly client-facing and outcomes-driven. You will build trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders, lead discovery sessions, and shape business cases, roadmaps, and transformation blueprints. You will present program status, value realization, and risk posture to C-suite and executive sponsors. You will lead change management activities, align business and IT priorities, and cultivate durable partnerships that extend beyond a single engagement. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business language will be essential to securing buy-in and accelerating value realization.
Key qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced degrees. You should bring 8 or more years of experience in enterprise IT services, including 3 or more years in a leadership role overseeing cross-functional, matrixed teams. Demonstrated success delivering multi-faceted programs, ideally involving cloud adoption, digital transformation, data and analytics, cybersecurity, or application modernization, is essential. Strong program and project management capabilities are required, including experience with PMO governance, risk management, and business outcome realization. You should be comfortable with senior client interaction, have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and possess a track record of driving value for large, complex environments. Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, ITIL, or relevant cloud certifications are a plus. A global perspective, comfort with virtual and distributed teams, and willingness to travel as needed are important. You should be able to operate with a bias toward action, influence without direct authority, and demonstrate resilience in dynamic, client-focused environments.
Decision-making responsibilities include prioritizing program portfolios and scope, approving changes within defined thresholds, balancing competing client and DXC priorities, approving major milestones and offshore/onshore staffing decisions, and determining escalation paths for high-risk issues. You will authorize vendor and partner engagement strategies within governance limits and contribute to shaping pricing, commercial terms, and engagement models in collaboration with sales and delivery leadership. You will also influence solution design and delivery approaches to maximize business impact while maintaining compliance with DXC standards and client requirements.
DXC offers substantial growth opportunities for high-performing leaders. In this role, you will have a clear path to senior leadership tracks, including Director and above, with opportunities to lead large-scale, strategic programs across multiple industries and geographies. You will gain exposure to diverse clients and technologies, enable ongoing professional development through formal training, certifications, and mentorship, and participate in leadership development programs. You will work in a culture that values collaboration, diverse perspectives, and continuous learning, with support for flexible work arrangements and work-life integration.
DXC Technology fosters an inclusive, collaborative environment where every voice matters. We are committed to building a diverse and equitable workplace that reflects the communities we serve. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and experiences and welcome differing viewpoints to strengthen our teams and our client solutions. We strive to create an environment where everyone can contribute fully, grow professionally, and feel respected and valued.
If you are a results-driven leader who thrives in complex enterprise environments, enjoys building strong client partnerships, and has a track record of delivering value through strategic IT services, we invite you to apply. Please submit your resume and a cover letter that highlights how your experience aligns with this role and your leadership approach. DXC Technology is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees.
