Company Description

A Market Intelligence company specializing in the Aerospace, Defense & Security industry of the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region is hiring a B2B Sales Executive to join their team in Broummana -Lebanon.

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business growth and managing client relationships across the defense, energy, and geopolitical sectors. The role focuses on converting prospects into paying subscribers, promoting a range of intelligence products such as daily updates, in-depth reports, weekly insights, and bespoke studies, while ensuring clients gain maximum value from their subscriptions.
Additionally, the Sales Executive collaborates closely with the Marketing, Accounts, and Content teams to identify opportunities, create tailored proposals, and support long-term client retention.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities with defense contractors, energy companies, consultancies, and government institutions.
  • Conduct outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Present intelligence products and clearly demonstrate their value to prospective clients.
  • Customize solutions such as bundles, credits, and bespoke studies to address client needs.

Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Support onboarding and provide guidance to help clients maximize the value of the platform.
  • Monitor usage patterns to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams (Content, Accounts).

Sales Execution

  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for subscriptions, bundles, and custom engagements.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, pricing quotes, and lead contract negotiations in coordination with the Head of Accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Deliver regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to management.

Collaboration

  • Partner with the Marketing team on campaigns, events, and lead-generation initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the Content team to align upcoming publications with client needs.
  • Provide structured client feedback to Product and Content teams to support continuous improvement of offerings.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within publishing, market intelligence, defense, energy, or consulting sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to simplify and convey complex geopolitical, defense, or energy-related content in clear value terms for clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic and/or French is an advantage.

Skills

  • Sales Targets: Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals for subscriptions and bespoke studies.
  • Pipeline Growth: Build and maintain a robust pipeline with a defined number of qualified leads each month.
  • Conversion Rate: Improve the percentage of prospects converted into paying clients.
  • Retention: Support the achievement of an >85% renewal rate for assigned accounts.
  • Upselling & Cross-selling: Drive additional revenue through bundle upgrades and value-added services.
