AV Operations Specialist

About this Position
Are you skilled in audiovisual support and passionate about helping others succeed in hybrid learning and event environments? This opportunity is for a motivated AV Operations Specialist to support classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces with AV technology across multiple buildings. You will work closely with presenters, staff, and technical teams to ensure seamless technology experiences for in-person and remote engagements.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide on-site AV support for classrooms, video conferences, and live events

• Set up, test, and monitor AV systems to ensure proper functionality

• Support remote and hybrid teaching, learning, and event experiences

• Assist presenters and staff with AV technology use before and during events

• Support video production, live streaming, and recording activities as needed

• Perform basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs

• Monitor AV systems and processes, track performance, and report on trends

Job Skills/Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with audiovisual systems in professional or educational settings

• Familiarity with AV tools including projectors, microphones, speakers, and conferencing software

• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills

• Experience with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams)

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on event needs

Pay Range:
$27-$30/hr
