Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic team in Delhi, India. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and tax laws, including GST regulations
  • Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits and tax filings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and GST regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective time management and planning capabilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports and statements
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus
