Job Description
The Assistant Auditor will support the auditing process by performing fieldwork, analyzing financial data, and identifying areas of risk or improvement. This role ensures that records are accurate and compliant with policies and regulations.
Qualifications
Required Education:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Required Experience & Certificates:
-3-5 years of experience in auditing or accounting.
-Certification in progress or completed (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
Required Skills:
-Strong understanding of auditing and accounting principles.
-Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
-Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-High ethical standards and discretion with sensitive information.
-Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory.
Tasks and Duties:
-Assist in planning and conducting internal and external audits.
-Analyze financial records and identify discrepancies or issues.
-Prepare audit findings and recommendations.
-Work closely with the audit team to ensure timely completion of audits.
-Maintain accurate and organized records of auditing activities.
