Junior Accountant
Qualifications
BA in Accounting or similar field with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge:
- Principles and practices of accounting.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
• Effective skills in oral and written communication, both in Arabic and English (French is a plus)
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.
• Good time management skills
- Ability to analyze data for decision-making.
• Ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
- QuickBooks system
Additional Information
Performance Responsibilities:
- Improve the accounting data and charts.
- Verify and reconcile the statements of accounts for both suppliers and customers regularly.
- Generate a sales report for MAC Belgium and MAC Beirut.
- Generates a report and manages financial status of Mac Nigeria.
- Handle payments to suppliers with Bank in Belgium.
- Monitor outstanding payments and advise Operation department with updated statements to follow up with clients.
- Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Responsible for monitoring office expenses.
- Validate Clients payment terms and collaborate with the operation department and the CEO to improve payment terms with customers and suppliers.
