Job Description

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Oracle Fusion Middleware Systems Administrator. This resource will be working Remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

 

Senior Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator with a minimum of 10 years of experience, and the candidate should work in EDT/EST time zone from 8hrs to 17hrs and is in or near to that time zone.

 

 

Scope of Work:

Leadership (Senior resources):

  • Provide strategic guidance for middleware hosting services and solutions
  • Manage middleware projects and provide technical leadership in deploying new services following the best practices
  • Assist the Team Lead and/or Unit Head in the delivery of client Service Delivery Agreements (SDAs) to partner agencies
  • Assist the Team Lead and/or Unit Head with the coordination, preparation, presentation and implementation of new proposals and projects linked to the Service Delivery Agreements
  • Provide technical leadership and be a go-to expert for troubleshooting issues related to Middleware components deployed On-premises and in Cloud

 

Service Management:

  • Manage, prioritize and take ownership of tasks assigned to the Middleware team including service requests, change requests, incidents, problems and project tasks
  • Monitor and take ownership of tasks assigned to the Middleware team ensuring completion within SLA targets

 

Technical Support:

  • Provide operational and deployment support for all Middleware services hosted on-premises and cloud
  • Design, install, configure and support Middleware infrastructure components
  • Perform environment clones, migrations and deployments to production environments
  • Perform patching, application upgrades, and manage/coordinate the platform upgrades
  • Support migration to and operation of Oracle Cloud and related cloud technologies
  • Implement and Manage Integration of middleware services with both on-premises and Cloud ERP, and related third-party applications
  • Assist in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Middleware automation tasks using Ansible and other IT automation tools
  • Perform troubleshooting and performance optimization activities
  • Assist, plan, and conduct disaster recovery tests
  • Produce technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform capacity management, and monitor, analyze and propose improvements to the middleware services
  • Perform support activities during planned maintenance windows outside of normal working hours when required
  • Perform other related duties as required

 

Required Technical Skills:

The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:

    • Extensive Oracle Fusion Middleware administration experience, including upgrades and patching
    • Extensive knowledge and support experience in three or more of the following products (but not limited to), and experience with Oracle Access Manager is must: Oracle WebLogic 12c, 14c and ADF applications
    • Oracle HTTP Server (OHS)
    • Oracle Flexcube (FLEXCUBE)
    • Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
    • Oracle SOA Suite components
    • Oracle WebCenter Suite components
    • OBIA environments configured with both Oracle E-Business and Oracle PeopleSoft
    • Oracle Access Management (OAM)
    • Oracle Identity Management (OIM)
    • Oracle Unified Directory (OUD)
    • Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
    • Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
    • Oracle Hyperion (HFM)
    • Apache Tomcat and HTTP Server
    • Good understanding of one or more cloud services - Oracle (OCI), Amazon (AWS), Microsoft (Azure), Google (GCP), etc.
    • Familiar with Oracle Cloud products such as EPM Planning, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, etc.
    • Experience in automating Middleware operational tasks
    • Good scripting skills using Linux shell, Oracle SQL and/or other automation tools

 

     

    Qualifications

    The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:

    • Experience with service management systems (ServiceNow or similar) and collaboration tools
    • Relational Databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server)
    • Experience in integrating with Oracle Cloud products such as Taleo, EPM Planning, Oracle Integration Cloud, etc.
    • Experience in configuring Single Sign-On and integrating middleware applications with Active directory
    • Experience with Ansible or related IT automation tools
    • Basic understanding of operating system platforms (Linux, Windows), and networking concepts
