- Monitor and maintain the quality standards of the production process, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, tests, and audits to verify the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Develop and implement quality assurance plans to identify any discrepancies or quality-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee the daily production processes, ensuring they are operating smoothly and efficiently.
- Optimize production methods to improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance overall production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring that any interruptions or inefficiencies are addressed promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality data for compliance with internal and external audits.
- Ensure that all production practices comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare reports detailing product specifications, testing outcomes, and production metrics.
- Work closely with R&D, engineering, and production teams to align on product specifications and improvements.
- Provide technical support and guidance on product development and production scaling.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss quality improvements and process optimizations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in the quality control and production management fields.
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects, focusing on enhancing production efficiency and reducing costs.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies or production techniques that may improve product quality or increase productivity.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members or new hires on quality control and production processes.
- Ensure that all team members are well-versed in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience:
- 0-3 years of experience in a quality assurance or production role within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotech industry.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GMP, SFDA).
