Data Scientist
This is a contract opportunity. 
This is an onsite opportunity in Menlo Park, CA. 

The Data Scientist will play a critical role in coordinating changes to computer databases, testing, and implementing databases while applying knowledge of database management systems. In this position, you will collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and the central analytics team to gather data and metrics requirements. The role will focus on building automated reporting, dashboards, and providing ongoing analysis to enable data-driven decision-making across teams.

This role requires expertise in SQL, data extraction, ETL processes, and experience with Business Intelligence tools. You will also be responsible for identifying and rectifying data integrity and accuracy issues in reporting, infrastructure, and dashboards.

• Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and central analytics teams to gather data and metrics requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain automated reporting and dashboards to enable data-driven decisions. (e.g. using Tableau, etc.)
• Build and optimize ETL processes to support large-scale marketing campaigns and automate campaign reporting.
• Write high-quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from database tables.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data integrity and accuracy issues across reporting and data infrastructure.

• 5+ years of experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience building and operating distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing large datasets from multiple sources.
• Expertise in ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.) and report automation.
• Proficiency in Python and R.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
