1. Prepares and maintains accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
2. Oversees month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Manages general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
4. Assists in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
5. Supports the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors.
6. Mentors and trains junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
7. Processes and files all documents related to Fixed Assets.
8. Receives from the Accounting Manager at the beginning of the year the depreciation rates to be used and calculates the depreciation monthly.
9. Reconciles bank statement with accounting records daily.
10. Processes and files Petty Cash daily.
11. Ensures that Petty Cash and Allowances are closed according to the company’s policies.
12. Process intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
13. Submits and closes quarterly VAT and salary income tax.

3-5 years of relevant experience

BSc. in Administration (Accounting/Finance).

Student Member of an Accounting Professional Body (ACCA or CPA).
