    About the team

    Diverse collaborative team of individuals dedicated to providing excellent production support to various global banking customers. 

    Test, maintain and support applications software that is delivered. Develop, test, implement, maintain, and support batch and environment scripting. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards. Provide customer production support of application and environments as well as assist with batch processing when needed

    What you will be doing

    This position provides production support to various client environments by debugging error logs, research of data entry issues, maintaining system availability, assisting with batch processing, and environment configuration.

    • Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.
    • Develop scripting logic for software applications when needed or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
    • Tests, debugs, and maintains software applications.
    • Demonstrates an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry.
    • Writes technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
    • Suggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems.
    • Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.

    What you bring:

    • General understanding of common systems architecture patterns
    • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
    • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
    • Strong understanding of SRE principles (SRE Certification preferred)

    • Experience with at least 3 of the below technologies:

    Kubernetes Python Linux SQL Splunk Dynatrace Oracle

    Added bonus if you have: (OPIONAL)

    • Kubernetes; Linux; Python (Programming Language); Structured Query Language (SQL)

    • Hadoop, or Hive

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $73,250.00 - $119,400.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
