About the role:

• Create and maintain processes of the quality program and provide consulting for software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.

About the team: 

FIS Short-Term Cash Management (STCM) portal is a global, multi-fund cash investment solution for institutional short-term liquidity investors. Utilized by treasury and investment specialists at corporations, hedge funds, public utilities, governments, and colleges and universities. FIS STCM provides the ability to research, analyze and submit trades as well as report on hundreds of money market funds and short-term cash investments through a single connection. 
 

What you will be doing:

• Drive technical decisions through architectural reviews, design reviews, code reviews, post-mortems, and detailed software specifications.
• Perform product design, bug verification and beta support which may require research and analysis.
• Resolve critical issues and contributes to the business unit/area development.
• Manage a team of software engineers and technical leads, unblocking maximum productivity for them, and growing their careers to the next level.
• Drive software quality, implement observability, and comply with best practices for builds and deployment to ensure the quality, security and reliability of our platform.
• Provide live on-call support by participating in the team on-call rotation and owning production issues from root cause analysis to resolution to future prevention.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, program management, design, security, compliance, qa, TS, CS etc.) to bring ideas to life.
• Adhere to the departmental application development and client delivery process standards.
• Provide input on product direction to product managers.
• Ensure proper application of technology.

• What you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Overall, 12+ years of relevant IT experience.
• Working knowledge of core Java
• Working knowledge of Angular 7 or higher.
• Experience in working on any relational database.
• Knowledge of JBoss, JSP and Struts will be a plus.
• Good technical know-how
• Flexibility to work on different technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex codebases.
