About the team

What you will be doing

  • Test Planning: Creating and reviewing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure coverage of business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Test Execution: Executing tests on Mainframe applications, including batch and online testing, to identify defects and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Defect Management: Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects, including collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Test Data Management: Creating and managing test data to support testing, including data validation and data masking.
  • Test Environment Management: Setting up and maintaining test environments, including Mainframe configurations and dependencies.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 5 yrs of experience on Mainframe Testing.
  • knowledge in COBOL, ISPF, JCL, VSAM.
  • Tools preferred are INSYNC,  CONTROL-M & ENDEAVOR.
  • Willing to work as an individual contributor
  • Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing
  • Ready to interact with customers and internal stakeholders to obtain complete and thorough understanding of the requirements.
  • Ready to define functional test cases based on the technical design/functional design in a way that is comprehensive and verifies accuracy of developed features.
  • Lead the remediation of defects and test closure report.
  • Provide input toward code propagation and readiness for higher environments.
  • Domain – Strong Banking Domain Knowledge (CORE Banking, LOC).

Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.S/M.Tech
