We are looking for a Temporary Depot Operative to join the team at our St Helens Branch, located on Lea Greene Business Park, working to a fixed term contract of 6 months.

The Role 

You will be providing a hands-on service with various tasks including the management of stock and fork-lift truck work, as well as opening and closing our branch on rotation with other colleagues - 6:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will also help our Posting & Cleaning Team from time-to time, ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round. This part of the role is physically demanding and does require you to work outdoors in all weathers, alone on the round, just you and your van.  

Requirements 

• Driving licence with no more than 3 points 

• Forklift Truck Licence  

• IT efficiency and an ability to work with Office 365 
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment

Desired Skills & Experience: 

• Driving experience using medium sized vans 

• Depot / warehouse experience 

• Stock management experience  

• Industrial cleaning experience 

• Remote / lone working experience - unsupervised
