We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough and organized Arabica Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. The position holder will be based in Kasese with frequent extended travel within the Rwenzori region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage UGACOF’s network of Arabica Coffee Washing Stations in Western Uganda.
  • Grow sourcing volumes, farmer outreach, and direct impact in the communities around our field-assets.
  • Identify and implement process improvements across Coffee Washing Station operations to improve outturn, quality, and financial controls.
  • Coach and upskill team members to build a strong and sustainable pool of talent within our field operations.
  • Develop, maintain and nurture relationships with various stakeholders along the supply chain.
  • Support other coffee sourcing operations based on company needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with specialization in agronomy/ Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience building and managing operations within a commodity supply chain, with extensive experience in leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge across all functions of the supply chain such as procurement, processing, logistics, quality control.
  • Experience working in emerging markets and rural contexts, preferably within coffee/cocoa supply chains.
  • Past work experience in start-ups or high growth business environments is a plus.
  • Analytical mind with high organizational and prioritization skills, a strong attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Data-driven and digitally fluent, with evident leadership, motivation, and engagement competencies.
