Job Description

The Main Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality food, maintaining kitchen safety and cleanliness, and managing kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fast food cuisine, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning and Preparation:
    • Develop and execute a diverse and appealing menu that aligns with our brand and customer preferences.
    • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Kitchen Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
    • Manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support as needed.
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory and Budget Management:
    • Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
    • Manage kitchen budget, controlling costs and minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure all food meets our quality standards and is served in a timely manner.
    • Implement and maintain kitchen policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    • Interact with customers as needed to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a chef in a fast food restaurant or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
