Job Description

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Develop and manage the financial planning and analysis function, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Financial Reporting:

    • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the group, including consolidated financial statements.
    • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Budgeting:

    • Coordinate the annual budgeting process for the group, working with individual business units to prepare and consolidate budgets.
    • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
  • Cash Flow Management:

    • Manage the group’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and investment.
    • Develop and implement cash flow forecasting and management strategies.
  • Internal Controls:

    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the group’s assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Financial Strategy:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the group’s business objectives and growth plans.
    • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Tax Planning and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
    • Develop tax planning strategies to optimize the group’s tax position.
  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and credit risks.
    • Develop risk management policies and procedures.
  • Investment Management:

    • Oversee the group’s investment activities, including capital expenditures and acquisitions.
    • Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and manage the finance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
    • Foster a high-performance culture within the finance function.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Communicate financial performance and strategic plans to internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders, lenders, and regulatory authorities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience

CMA/CA certified

 

Experience in the food/hospitality industry is a plus.
