Who Do We Need?
We are seeking a Copywriter/Editor with demonstrated expertise in creating written content for a variety of clients across different sectors. You should be an excellent team player with outstanding English writing and communication skills. Your ability to translate client needs into compelling content that achieves their objectives is crucial. You must be adept at conducting thorough online research to find relevant and up-to-date supporting data and have a talent for quickly identifying the key message in complex documents. You should also be skilled at repurposing approved content by integrating it with current data and news. Your work will be pivotal in driving engagement and meeting KPIs for PR campaigns.
What Will You Be Doing?
Content Planning and Development:
- Generate and develop content ideas that drive success in digital/social media and PR campaigns.
- Create a range of content deliverables from client briefs, or assist in developing client briefs:
- Long-form PR content: briefing documents (for media interviews, panel sessions, and fireside chats), Q&A features, perspective pieces, bylines, keynote speeches.
- Medium-form content: press releases, bios, speaker session outlines, advertorials.
- Short-form PR content: ad hoc quotes for independent news features and social media posts, including thought leadership posts on LinkedIn.
- Lead the timely delivery of content.
Industry and Market Knowledge:
- Maintain a deep understanding of clients' businesses and stay informed about developments and trends in their industries.
Account Team Management:
- Provide guidance and innovative ideas to account teams for implementing and developing client work.
Qualifications
What Do You Need to Apply for This Role?
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience, preferably with a reputable communications agency.
- Strong proficiency in English content creation is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write both short and long-form content.
- Agency background preferred.
