The role:

Logistics Specialist Outbound

Summary of the role:

Responsible for being the main point of contact and providing service to assigned clients and ensuring the optimal (on-time, cost-effective, quality-service) execution of sales contracts, while continually providing high quality service to all involved stakeholders.

Job Description:

Support Supervisor/Management in the day-to-day execution of contracts with tasks including but not limited to the following:

• Responsible for being the main point of contact of assigned clients, and ensuring the optimal execution of their sale contracts, while continually providing high-quality service to all involved stakeholders.
• Issuing sale invoices, warehouse & bank releases to customers. Coordinate client deliveries. Communicating and monitoring customer limits. Including Credit and Debit notes to customers.
• Responsible for customer facing, on-time inventory turnover, position status reports, reallocations, issuance of on-time arrival sampling instructions/monitoring, and assure contracts are delivered within terms.
• Keep assigned client profiles up-to-date and liaise with Inbound & Trading teams effectively on related procedural changes where relevant.
• Work daily with Sales Traders for position follow-up and review commercial issues.
• Maintain an effective and updated filing system of contracts, orders, shipment, internal and external reports.
• Assisting and providing support in the different areas of the Americas team when necessary.
• Work closely with upper management to anticipate execution challenges and advise on potential problems and solutions.
• All stock reports from warehouses are checked on time and properly. 
• Non coffee Service invoices review are checked on time and correctly

Assist and provide support in the different areas of the Sucafina Americas team as required

Requirements:

-University degree (Major in Foreign Trade, International Business, or Logistics is a plus) 

-Knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP is a plus)

-5+ years or more of experience in customer service, sales, international logistics. 

-A strong work ethic, motivated by a desire of knowledge, curiosity and understanding. Detail-oriented & inquisitive

-Fluent in English both written & spoken, other languages a plus. (C1 level)

-Knowledge in soft-agri commodities preferred (coffee industry is a plus).

-Microsoft Office suite, advanced excel skills needed, (power BI, SharePoint a plus)

-Knowledge of International Incoterms

-Experience with customer service

-Knowledge of Incoterms.

-Knowledge of GCA is a plus.

-Knowledge of PBI is a plus.
