The client is a pioneering equity crowdfunding platform in the MENA region, democratising access to start-up investments for ordinary UAE citizens. In simple terms, where investments into companies such as Uber, Airbnb and Coinbase were previously gatekept to seasoned professional investors, now you or I could invest and own part of such a company through the client’s platform. This start-up was co-founded by two Lebanese entrepreneurs. They are UAE and London based, but looking to set up an office in Beirut.
Our client is creating a next-gen equity crowdfunding platform built on Next.js, and are looking for someone who is eager to grow with them as they revolutionise the way startups raise capital.
Job Description
Job Title: Mid-Level Front End Engineer
Location: Remote/Lebanon
Working Hours: 9am - 5:30pm (Lebanon time) 5 days per week
Salary: 1000 - 1500 USD Monthly

We're looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to join our startup, an innovative equity crowdfunding platform. If you're a software engineer who wants to contribute to the world of startups and fintech, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. You'll become an important part of our small team, playing a crucial role in the development of our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a small, cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain our Next.js platform.
Create dynamic web and mobile pages with Next.js from figma wireframes.
Optimize data fetching, loading, and caching to create a more user-friendly experience for our users.
Be directly involved in projects that will be visible to our users, making your work impactful from day one.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
2-3 year of software development experience.
Prior experience with JavaScript and web development.
A strong willingness to learn and continuously improve your skills.
The ability to independently implement solutions to technical challenges.
Proficiency with the English language.
