About the Team:
The Attack Surface Management team (ASM) is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our new and growing team. As a member of our ASM, you will be instrumental at defining the vision to help secure Worldpay going forward. You will work closely with other security teams on compliance, vulnerability management, and incident response. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions, as well as reviewing and recommending new technologies, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to the overall security program.
What you’ll do:
· Implement API integration with application security solutions to automate workflows and streamline the operation of security tools (SAST, SCA, DAST, …, etc).
· Develop web applications to provide interactive dashboards enabling analysis and visualization of security metrics using Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.
· Deliver and execute projects on the security technical roadmap via security and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Collaborate with technology partners to enable agile secure implementations of security solutions and best practices into the software development lifecycle.
· Lead Proof of Concept feature development with opportunities to present research to our technology partners.
· Create and maintain documentation and diagrams of internal security solutions.
· Stay abreast of new security technology, emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls.
What you’ll bring:
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, security, and related areas
· Hands-on experience with setting up application security scanners and automation
· Experience working with structured and unstructured database technologies (e.g. MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
· Experience working in cloud environments (e.g. AWS), DevSecOps environment, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
· Strong analytical skills including solving and communicating complex problems, data analytics, measurement and reporting needed to drive continuous improvement.
· Proficiency in information security domains, including policies and standards, risk and control assessments, regulatory compliance, risk and control governance and metrics, and issue management.
