Position Title: Summer Employment & Training Specialist – Full Time 

Position Dates: 06/24/2023 – 08/07/2023

Location: Pawtucket, RI

Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour 

Hours: 20 Hours per week

Schedule: Monday- Friday flexible schedule to meet program needs

This service provides an experience to assist High School students with barriers to employment a firsthand paid work experience in the World of Work. This five-day, five week, 20 hours per week program; provides an individualized community-based work experience at one integrated worksite in the community meeting the students interests and nearby living areas. At the end of the completed five weeks; ORS, Viability and students review findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the Summer Work Experience to assist in future vocational planning. 

Responsibilities and Incentives Include:

  • Developing Work Sites
  • Weekly Follow Up Visits to Students Work sites.
  • Weekly Case Notes on students’ performances
  • Reports needed for each student on case load at the end of the five weeks summer work experience. 
  • Mileage reimbursement
