AML & Due Diligence Analyst
This is a contract opportunity.
This is an in-office opportunity in Pittsburg, PA.
About this position
This position will serve as an analyst with operational responsibilities for accurately evaluating customer information and taking appropriate actions to protect the company against the risk of money laundering activity. The role involves adhering to global and local regulatory procedures and policies in consultation with AML supervisory staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure assigned processing is performed according to the standards set forth by the bank, as well as government and industry regulations.
- Identify and escalate customers/activity that represents a significant risk to the company.
- Maintain quality and productivity targets.
- Identify and escalate suspicious activity effectively.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task efficiently.
Skills/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience working in a corporate environment.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 2 years of experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and other banking systems.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 2 years of AML operations/compliance experience.
Additional Information:
- 6-month contract with the possibility of extending/converting
Pay/Salary Range:
- Pay: $20/hour.
