About the Team

You will join a team of security professionals who are responsible for overseeing the physical security applications such as access control, closed circuit television (CCTV) and visitor management.  You will use your knowledge and expertise to create a safe and secure work environment by using best in class security standards and methodologies. 

What you will be doing

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be required to provide technical expertise for large-scale physical security implementation designs.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for developing and communicating security standard requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage all related physical security software applications ensuring 99.9% uptime.
  • Coordinate application upgrades with other IT and Network Engineers.
  • The candidate will collaborate with internal teams to develop physical security design standards, adhering to industry best practices and the safety of employees and guests visiting our facilities.
  • Conduct regular testing of security devices and related software applications.
  • Support day-to-day operations associated with physical security, including routine maintenance and technology troubleshooting.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant technology advances within the industry. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, logs, and incident reports related to physical security incidents, investigations, and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Networking preferred.

What you bring:

  • Over all 7-10 Years and Five years of professional experience in designing, implementing, and managing physical security devices and associated software systems. 
  • History of working with large scale, enterprise access control and CCTV platforms.
  • Knowledge of current IP-based Video based systems such as VideoEdge and Avigilon. 
  • Knowledge of CCure 9000 access control system.  Ccure 9000 certification a plus.   
  • Thorough understanding of access programming and related technologies.  
  • Proven professional experience evaluating and implementing security designs. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, as well as being able to prepare and present project plans to a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
  • Successful project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work successfully with a variety of internal and external partners, including vendors and contractors, as well as multiple departments such as Information Technology, Design and Construction, Networking, and Facilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
