Web Developer This is a contract opportunity. This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates in the southeastern region. Candidates must work EST or CST time zone. About this position: The Web Developer will be supporting a company that provides CMS website management services such as custom design solutions, content editor assistance, business logic suggestions, graphic and website design, training and accessibility recommendations. You will be is responsible for answering questions of the Web Content Specialists, performing QA checks on HTML and making minor modifications to the HTML/CSS/JS of certain CMS features to assist the Web Content specialists as needed. The role will involve working with various content management systems (CMS) to maintain client websites. This role will also include interacting with the client and assisting them with custom website requests. Job Responsibilities: Conducting quality assurance checks of Web Content Specialists' HTML HTML/CSS Modification of pre-designed/pre-developed features. Helping with clients with creative web solutions to CMS limitations Javascript development or implementation of features Perform Web Accessibility Standards Audits on client websites Communicating with the Web Content Specialists, passing on knowledge to help with the team's efficiency Skills/Requirements: 4+ years of web development experience 3+ years of Javascript proficiency 2+ years' experience with multiple CMS (Cascade CMS a bonus) 2+ years' experience of implementing web accessibility standards Care about customer experience and processes Pay Range: $33-46/hr YUPRO Placement is the nation's leading skills-first placement firm placing and promoting historically overlooked talent into permanent hire, apprenticeship, and contract job assignments.
