Wage Info : Paraprofessional Class V $20.33 or above, base on qualifications
Hours: 3 Morning Positions - 2 Positions at 10.5 hours per week and 1 Position at 8 Hours per week

Job Summary:

Carry out intervention strategies as directed by professional staff with individual students and in small groups; organize classroom and individual instruction materials; assist in meeting physical needs of pre-school age students, including moving, lifting, diapering, positioning, toileting, etc.; participate in team planning meetings and other duties as assigned by staff.

Candidates are required to have at least two years post-secondary training. Qualified applicants will possess the following: experience working with preschool age children with disabilities; ability to carry out teacher designed interventions with students with significant disabilities, and the ability to function cooperatively and flexibly on a team. Must be able to respond to developmental and specific health care needs such as toileting, catheterization, lifting and feeding.
