What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking an individual with a broad strategic perspective and demonstrated performance leading teams tasked with sourcing, shaping, and closing consulting opportunities for public sector health organizations. This individual must have a successful track record in identifying, qualifying, and winning major business development pursuits in the public sector health arena, and will partner with Guidehouse leaders to drive capture initiatives. Must have a broad understanding of the public sector health market including key trends in the consulting industry. Should bring an extensive network of government and private sector contacts and thorough knowledge of the public sector health landscape of government leaders, consulting competitors and contract vehicles.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading market analysis and strategic business planning including identification, qualification, and marketing aspects of complete capture efforts for public sector health organizations. This includes conducting research and prospecting to competitively position Guidehouse on key strategic opportunities for health clients.
- Providing support to shaping and executing the company’s strategy for key public sector accounts.
- Developing a qualified pipeline of opportunities that will yield profitable revenue in support of Guidehouse’s financial goals.
- Overseeing customer contact and positioning as well as teaming interactions.
- Understanding and articulating Guidehouse Advisory Digital and Managed Services offerings including the applicability to existing and prospective clients.
- Representing Guidehouse at conferences and marketing events relevant to the Public Sector Heath team’s focus and goals.
- Negotiating contract terms with teaming partners in line with corporate guidelines.
- Ensuring the capture of health opportunities progress to closed sales that result profitable revenue for the firm.
What You Will Need:
- 12 years+ of demonstrated success selling healthcare government consulting
- 15+years of prior relevant experience with a broad, relevant industry network is preferred
- Deep knowledge of public sector health ecosystem
- Strong oral and written communications to varying levels within client organizations including experience selling to and working with C-suite
- Strong customer service, time management and organizational skills
- PC and software skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to negotiate both contracts and business needs
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
