Job Description
As a Key Account Manager, your role is to manage the relationship between our company and our existing chain accommodation partners. You may also support the acquisition of new chain partners through negotiations. Your main responsibilities include creating detailed reports on performance, optimizing performance on our platform, providing information about our products and services to key partners, improving availability and inventory for our users, and collaborating with different departments within our company. It's important to have strong networking skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders from various backgrounds.
This is a full-time position based in our Tokyo office.
Responsibilities:- Support the company's strategy for key chain partners
- Promote our brand and products/services to key partners
- Create detailed profiles for key accounts
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in key accounts
- Train, consult, monitor, and support stakeholders in optimizing key account performance
- Optimize partnerships with key accounts at a decision-making level
- Initiate and present innovations to improve performance with key accounts
- Analyze key accounts on regional and local levels
- Monitor internal projects and be the main contact for key chain accounts
- Provide support to all offices worldwide
- Prepare workshops and trainings
- Create monthly reports on KPI data
- Support chain acquisition preparation
- Assist in preparing business reviews
- Update chain administration and other related documents
- Coordinate with the XML team and operations for chain hotels
- Establish procedures for chains
- Support the resolution of escalated issues
- At least 4 years of experience in relevant account management
- Preferably a university degree in Hospitality
- Experience or knowledge in the online travel and/or hotel/travel industry
- Strong knowledge of revenue and channel management
- Familiarity with the competitive landscape of online travel
- Excellent networking skills
- Effective communication with different stakeholders
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- Ability to interpret data and define goals
- Strong planning and prioritization skills
- Ability to see the bigger picture
- Fluent in English and Japanese
- Authorization to work in Japan
