Role Description As an Account Manager, you will be part of our Local Partner Services team in Amsterdam. Your main responsibility will be to inform and consult our accommodation partners on their business performance, market opportunities, and industry trends. You will empower our partners to optimize their performance on our platform and provide an amazing experience for our customers. Key Job Responsibilities and Duties: - Proactively communicate with partners in your region, providing support and guidance to help them grow their businesses. - Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of partners, answering questions and addressing their needs. - Maintain a strong relationship with our accommodation partners, ensuring they offer the best availability and competitive pricing. - Be knowledgeable about Booking.com's products and explain their benefits to partners. - Identify opportunities for partners to improve their businesses and prioritize them based on internal segmentation. - Assist in identifying new potential partner leads. - Take ownership of customer service escalations related to your managed portfolio and resolve them efficiently. - Support the organization of events for partners and attend partner events for your portfolio. Role Qualifications and Requirements: - At least 2 years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or business development. - Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish. - Experience or affinity with e-commerce and/or the travel industry is a plus. - Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently. - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. - Great team player, self-motivated, and flexible. - Preferred background in Hotel School or University. - Valid driver's license. - Availability to travel up to 50% within the country.
