Job Description

WorldPay is searching for a motivated, energetic, and curious sales professional to join our team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). SDRs play a vital role in our sales cycle as the first point of contact for prospects and the front lines of our strategy. 

The SDR will work across the GTM teams including Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to pre-qualify inbound prospects, act quicky on high intent leads, and drive demand from Outbound motion to achieve organizational lead targets.

  •  This is a Hybrid Role located in Denver, CO. This will require appx 3 days in office per week.

What you will be doing 

  • Qualifies and prospects both inbound and outbound leads to create opportunities for the Sales Team.
  • Responsible for sales prospecting and qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. Researches potential clients, and build relationships by engaging prospective clients before handing them off to the closers of the sales team.
  • Generates sales leads through outbound calling, trade shows, digital channels and other lead generation programs
  • Maintains sales leads documentation
  • Develops sales strategies to draw in and solicit new potential customers
  • Creates relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Moves qualified leads through the sales funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging meetings, emails, or phone calls, as required.
  • Collaborates with sales account executives to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring: 

  • Demonstrated success interacting with people by phone, leading, persuading, and overcoming obstacles associated with prospecting
  • Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
  • Enthusiastic, genuinely curious and self-starting
  • Disciplined and organized approach to daily activity planning, setting goals and achieving success
  • Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
     

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience with B2B SaaS Sales
  • Experience within the payments industry or payment adjacent experience
  • Proven effective use of HubSpot or other CRM, ZoomInfo, and other prospecting tools as well as MSFT apps
  • Working knowledge of Worldpay for Platforms products as well as other payment processing knowledge

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $27.08 - $44.70 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.. This position may be eligible for bonus and/or commission.
