As a member of Schwab's service team, you will play a crucial role in helping clients own their financial futures. You will have the opportunity to educate clients about investment strategies, trading tools, market mechanics, and retirement choices. By answering inbound calls, you will become an advocate for clients, addressing complex issues and providing the best possible solutions. In addition, you will receive paid training, study time, and support through the Schwab Service Academy to obtain your Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses. If you have a passion for finance, enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, and want to serve clients, this role is for you.

We offer a competitive compensation package, which includes starting compensation at $46,400 during training (increases based on related experience), an annual bonus opportunity of 10% of your base pay, and other eligible earnings. With the required Licensing and performance-based pay increases, you have the potential to increase your total compensation to $53,000 ($48,400 base, plus 10% bonus opportunity) within your first year.

Required Qualifications:

  • Flexibility to work any day, time, or shift to accommodate 24/7 contact center needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Previous client relationship experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited university
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business
  • Eagerness to learn about finance
  • Passion for service to clients
  • Motivation to learn about the securities industry, including the basic principles of equity, option, and mutual fund transactions
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and client engagement skills
  • Desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team
  • Proven success in navigating multiple computer applications
