Job Description
**Position: Family Licensed Health Aide (FLHA) – Caregiver for Medically Fragile Children**
At Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for parents and relatives of medically fragile children in Arizona. As part of the new Family Licensed Health Aide Program (FLHA), you can now receive training and compensation to provide skilled care to your loved one.
**Program Details:**
- The FLHA program was approved by the Board of Nursing and Arizona State Medicaid to support families with children in the Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) who have skilled needs.
- Under the program, qualified family caregivers can become licensed and paid to provide skilled care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care is approved to train LHAs to be part of their children’s care teams at home.
**Responsibilities:**
As a Family Licensed Health Aide, you will provide various types of care to minor children aged 21 or younger, including:
- Bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Oral and nail care
- Medication administration
- Tracheoscopy care and G-Tube feeding
- Range of motion exercises
**Benefits:**
- Weekly pay
- Up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year
- Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus available
