Position Summary:

At Penske, we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor who can effectively communicate, organize tasks, and multitask. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating and scheduling vehicle maintenance repairs, overseeing technicians, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be involved in hiring and training maintenance technicians to meet customer expectations. This is a leadership role that does not require a background in mechanical work.

Major Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customer needs
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of our assets
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
• Exceed customer satisfaction
• Mentor and coach technicians and team members
• Monitor staff work levels
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who:

• Enjoy working in a positive, fast-paced, and high-energy environment
• Have 3-5 years of fleet maintenance management experience or at least 3 years of team management in metrics-driven environments
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (additional technical education is preferred)
• Have strong customer service and organizational skills
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Are proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
• Can follow instructions and safety guidelines established by Penske

Physical Requirements:

This job requires physical and mental abilities to:

• Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods
• Use hands regularly to operate tools and controls
• Safely work at heights and in all weather conditions
• Have proper vision and hearing to navigate the work environment
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 100lbs/45kg occasionally, and up to 50lbs/23kg regularly
