About the Role
As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our new products. You will work with product development teams, suppliers, and manufacturing to create comprehensive advanced quality plans. This includes identifying key components, evaluating processes, managing risks, and validating products prior to their distribution.
Your Responsibilities
To grow and succeed with The Toro Company, you will:
- Participate in developing and deploying advanced quality plans for new products.
- Provide input during product team meetings to ensure quality planning is followed.
- Conduct machine risk assessments with product development teams.
- Investigate and qualify product and process capabilities.
- Develop relationships with manufacturing and suppliers to implement comprehensive quality plans.
- Report on the quality planning process through monitoring, validation, and data analysis.
- Lead and participate in corrective actions, preventive actions, and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain quality reports, records, and plans for the supported product lines.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or project management in a manufacturing plant.
- ASQ or AIAG Certifications in Advanced Quality Engineering, Quality Auditing, or Six Sigma (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in advanced quality planning, statistical process control, failure mode effect analysis, or manufacturing process controls.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, CreoView, Windchill, and SAP systems.
- Willingness to travel (up to 15%).
