What you'll bring:- Minimum 3+ years of paid professional tax preparation experience, using professional tax preparation software
- Experience preparing a variety of federal and provincial tax returns for individuals, including different types of income and deductions
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and concepts, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using Windows, mobile platforms, and G-suite applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility in availability/schedule
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is an asset
- Experience preparing Quebec tax returns is an asset
- Experience in a contact center environment is an asset
- Provide expert tax guidance to customers for their personal tax returns in a remote, seasonal, and customer-facing role
- Collaborate with customers to ensure their tax returns are accurate and comply with tax regulations
- Research and address specific tax questions, both in written and oral form, to provide accurate advice
- Offer a Full Service experience by preparing, reviewing, and filing customers' returns with the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) or assisting customers in preparing their own returns with tax advice and guidance
- Stay up to date with tax regulations to maximize customers' tax returns
- Create positive customer interactions that demonstrate empathy, tax knowledge, and expertise
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to provide accurate information to customers
- Apply established procedures and company policies to resolve customer inquiries
