Customer Accounts Advisor
Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors act as coaches to our customers, helping them with payment collections and lease agreement renewals. They understand the benefits of lease agreements and strive to ensure that customers are completely satisfied with their products. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and in person, assisting them on their journey towards ownership.

The Work
- Manage and maintain customers’ accounts, including updating customer information in the computer system and documenting all customer payment appointments.
- Engage with customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, both through home visits and phone calls.
- Explain the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments to customers and encourage them to renew.
- Assist the Customer Account Manager in setting and achieving revenue and renewal goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Help with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
- Inspect and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for items that are personally returned by customers.
- Complete and maintain vehicle maintenance and route sheets on a daily basis.
- Load, secure, and protect products in company vehicles.
- Safely operate company vehicles.
- Assist the Sales Team as needed.
- Perform any reasonable duties requested by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old in the United States with a valid driver's license (compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy) or at least 18 years old in Canada.
- Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states (United States).
- Flexible availability to work varied hours between 8 am and 9 pm.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 300 lbs. with the help of a dolly.
- Preferred two years of retail/customer service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High energy level and ability to efficiently handle all tasks in the store while multitasking effectively.
- Proper telephone etiquette.
- Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Proficient computer skills.
