As a Branch Ambassador, you will play a vital role in our customers' banking experience. You will have the opportunity to connect with customers, offer product knowledge, and perform various transactions such as check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals. Your role will also involve monitoring fraud prevention measures and ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures.
We are seeking individuals who are adaptable and have a growth mindset, as our rapidly changing tech and financial environment requires continuous learning. Our goal is to enhance the financial lives of people in the communities we serve, and we are looking for outgoing individuals who are excited to be a part of this reimagined banking experience.
Here's what we're looking for in you:
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds, including elderly, refugees, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, and veterans.
- You have a strong understanding of personal and business financial needs and can alleviate customer financial anxiety by providing appropriate guidance.
- You are committed to adhering to security and compliance policies in a banking environment.
- You are comfortable handling cash and providing service throughout the branch based on customer needs.
- You have a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about Capital One's products, services, and digital banking channels. You can effectively educate customers on these offerings.
- You thrive in a team environment and can inspire and be inspired by your teammates.
- You have the ability to research and answer customer inquiries, providing appropriate solutions to enhance customer retention and engagement.
- You are willing to travel between branches within your assigned local area to support the market.
Basic qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in Retail, Sales, or Customer Service, where you have interacted with people.
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in Retail, Sales, or Banking.
