Job Description
Position Summary:
As a skilled Body Shop Technician at Penske, you will use advanced technology and repair techniques to restore our customers' vehicles to top-notch condition. You will be responsible for performing both minor and major truck and trailer collision repairs, utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. As part of our winning team, you will have the support and resources you need to excel in your career.
Work Location: 13909 L St. Omaha, NE
Work Hours: Monday- Friday 7am- 330pm

Major Responsibilities:
- Perform all levels of Truck Collision Repair and maintenance services, such as Cab/Sheet Metal Repair, Welding/Fabricating, Surface Preparation, and Paint/Mixing/Blending.
- Identify necessary parts for repair and document warrantable repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Test drive vehicles when necessary.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of practical experience or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical school preferred.
- Specialized training and experience in repairing all series of truck and trailer.
- Proficiency in using tools of the trade, including welding equipment, paint equipment, and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently move, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use hands for routine tasks and operate tools and controls.
- Must be able to work safely at heights, in all weather conditions, and navigate the work environment around large trucks.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
