Job Expectations: - Treat co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community with respect and professionalism. - Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to hygiene standards set by CSI. - Follow safety, security, and quality guidelines, as well as CSI's policies and procedures. - Ensure the safety of yourself and others by utilizing the CSI Loss Prevention process. - Adhere to proper food safety and hygiene practices. - Follow federal law and company standards when verifying the age of customers for age-restricted products. - Collaborate professionally with vendors and contractors. - Maintain regular and punctual attendance. - Follow kitchen and sanitation procedures in compliance with city and county regulations for cooking KKC products. Essential Functions: - Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and thanking customers with courtesy. - Conduct sales transactions accurately and safely using various payment methods. - Manage cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at the end of each shift. - Keep the retail station clean and organized, both indoors and outdoors. - Prepare and restock food and beverage products. - Promote store specials and marketing programs. - Verify the accuracy of delivered goods and distribute them throughout the store. - Follow local law requirements when dispensing fuel. - May be assigned other duties by management. Requirements/Qualifications: - Availability to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and judgement. - Ability to work independently and in a team. - Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates (in specific locations). - Cooking/restaurant experience preferred. Supervisor Responsibilities: - This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands: - Ability to stand and walk for long periods on hard and uneven surfaces. - Ability to lift, push, and move products using proper lifting techniques. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - May be exposed to outdoor conditions and coolers/freezers. - Regular handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness. Additional Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years of age to work in California and Oregon locations. - Must be at least 21 years of age to work in Washington locations and for graveyard shifts. - Must be at least 21 years of age for management positions.
