Job Description
Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) is a company that sells gasoline and convenience products at our retail stations. We are looking for hardworking individuals who believe in what they're doing. We are committed to bringing passion and customer focus to our business.
Job Expectations:
- Maintain courteous and professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
- Maintain a neat appearance and good personal hygiene according to CSI standards.
- Follow safety, security, and quality guidelines, as well as CSI policies and procedures. Report accidents or incidents to the manager.
- Ensure the safety of yourself and others by using the CSI Loss Prevention process.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures in compliance with county regulations.
- Follow federal law and company standards when checking customers' ID for age-restricted products.
- Work professionally with vendors and contractors.
- Regular and punctual attendance is expected.
- Follow proper kitchen and sanitation procedures according to city and county regulations when cooking food.
Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional guest service, greet and thank customers while making eye contact.
- Handle point-of-sale activities accurately and safely, following CSI guidelines and procedures.
- Manage cash drawer according to CSI cash handling policies.
- Clean the indoor and outdoor facilities, including restrooms, pumps, islands, and car wash.
- Prepare food and beverages, monitor product levels and restock as needed.
- Promote store specials and marketing programs.
- Check the price of delivered goods for accuracy.
- Distribute delivered goods throughout the store and ensure shelves are always stocked.
- Follow local law requirements when filling vehicle fuel tanks.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Must possess required food handling certificates, if required by law.
- Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.
Supervisor Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods on hard surfaces.
- Ability to lift and move product using proper lifting techniques.
- Constant standing, bending, and reaching for Krispy Krunchy Chicken procedures.
- Working safely with equipment that can create high temperatures.
- Exposure to outdoor conditions and walk-in coolers/freezers.
- Frequent handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness.
