The Opportunity
We are currently seeking dedicated professionals for future insurance customer service opportunities in Tampa, FL and other locations in 2024. We have new training classes starting every month, and military veterans and spouses are highly encouraged to apply. As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will provide customer service, sales, and retention activities for our Property & Casualty personal line products. You will interact with our members through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, chat, and social media, to ensure their financial security.
What You'll Do:
- Answer inbound phone calls, emails, and other contacts from members
- Assist members with insurance quotes, new business, policy changes, and coverage provisions
- Understand and fulfill member needs by providing complete and accurate advice and solutions
- Utilize tools and resources to support members effectively
- Operate in a contact center environment and navigate multiple systems while maintaining engaging member interactions
- Maintain necessary licenses and registrations
- Identify and handle risks associated with business activities
- Follow risk and compliance policies and procedures
What You Have:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members
- Willingness to acquire necessary licenses and registrations within 90 days of hire
What Sets You Apart:
- 1 year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment
- US military experience or being a military spouse/domestic partner
- Prior experience in a fast-paced contact center environment
- 6 months experience frequently communicating with customers
