Job Description

Come join our team at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) where we sell gasoline and convenience products at our retail stations. Job Expectations:
  • Assist the Station Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail facility.
  • Maintain oversight of station operations and staff in the Station Manager's absence.
  • Provide work direction, motivation, and coaching to staff during shifts to ensure tasks are completed according to CSI's guidelines.
  • Support and adhere to safety, security, and quality guidelines, as well as all other CSI policies and procedures.
  • Understand and ensure all station employees comply with wage and hour requirements.
  • Support the cash/money handling and accountability processes.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and model safe behaviors.
  • Maintain professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Perform all duties of a Customer Service Representative (CSR) as needed.
Principal Duties (including but not limited to):
  • Provide work direction to staff during shifts, including customer service, stocking, cleaning, and food service.
  • Assist with product inventory management.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels and follow cash handling processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of food service equipment and follow food safety requirements.
  • Inform Station Manager of any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and use personal protective equipment.
  • Use computer programs for daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Keep Business Consultant informed of station operations and issues in the absence of Station Manager.
Job Specifications:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment.
  • Demonstrated experience operating a cash register and other related equipment.
  • Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety requirements for food storage and serving.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High School graduate or equivalent and minimum 21 years of age.
Physical Demands:
  • Continuous walking and standing, bending, pushing, and reaching.
  • Lifting weights up to 10lbs and occasionally up to 35lbs.
  • Safely handling equipment with high temperatures and exposure to outdoor conditions.
  • Periodic exposure to cleaning supplies and chemicals.
  • Occasional exposure to walk-in coolers at 34°F.

Compensation Range: $17.28 - $25.92 per hour
