Job Opportunity: Chevron Stations Inc (CSI) - Gas Station Attendants/Cashiers At Chevron Stations Inc (CSI), we believe in the value of hard work and providing excellent service to our customers. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Gas Station Attendants/Cashiers. Responsibilities: - Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards coworkers, customers, vendors, and the community. - Adhere to CSI image standards by maintaining a neat appearance and practicing good personal hygiene. - Follow safety, security, and quality guidelines, as well as CSI policies and procedures. Report any accidents or incidents immediately. - Prioritize the safety of yourself, your coworkers, and others by following the CSI Loss Prevention process. - Ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed, including sanitation, food handling, preparation, storage, and disposal procedures. - Follow federal laws and company standards when verifying customer age for age-restricted products. - Maintain professional relationships with vendors and contractors. - Maintain regular and punctual attendance. - Follow kitchen and sanitation procedures in compliance with city and county regulations. Essential Functions: - Provide exceptional guest service by being courteous, greeting customers, and thanking them with eye contact. - Accurately and safely conduct point-of-sale transactions, including retail and fuel sales, following CSI guidelines and procedures. - Manage cash drawer responsibly and perform cashier reconciliation at the end of each shift. - Ensure cleanliness of indoor and outdoor facilities, including restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash (if applicable). - Prepare food and hot beverages, monitor product levels, and restock as needed. - Actively promote store specials and marketing programs. - Verify accuracy of delivered goods and distribute them throughout the store. - Follow local laws for fuel tank activation and filling (Oregon only). Requirements/Qualifications: - Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise good judgment. - Ability to work both independently and in a team. - Possess necessary food handling certificates, as required by law (in specific locations only). - Preferred cooking/restaurant experience. Supervisor Responsibilities: - This position does not include supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands: - Ability to stand and walk for long periods on hard and uneven surfaces. - Ability to bend, lift, push, and move product using proper lifting techniques. - Krispy Krunchy Chicken procedures require constant standing, bending, and reaching. - Ability to work safely with equipment that holds very high temperatures. - Periodic exposure to outdoor conditions. - Moderate exposure to walk-in coolers and freezers. - Frequent handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness. Age Requirements: - Must be at least 18 years old to work in California and Oregon locations. - Must be at least 21 years old to work in Washington locations and for graveyard shift (10pm-6am). - Must be at least 21 years old to work in management positions.
