Job Expectations:
  • Assist the Station Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee station operations and staff in the absence of the Station Manager.
  • Provide direction, motivation, and coaching to staff during shifts.
  • Follow safety, security, and quality guidelines and respond to accidents or incidents promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company wage and hour requirements.
  • Support and adhere to cash handling and accountability processes.
  • Maintain safety and professionalism with coworkers, customers, vendors, and the community.
  • Be reliable, attend shifts as scheduled, and perform Customer Service Representative duties as needed.
Principal Duties:

Store Operations:

  • Provide work direction to ensure smooth operations, customer service, stocking, cleaning, and food service.
  • Assist with product inventory management to avoid out-of-stocks.
  • Follow cash handling and accountability processes and properly operate equipment like cash registers and food service machines.
  • Inform Station Manager of any issues or concerns that may affect the store's performance.
  • Maintain safety standards and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Use computer programs to support store operations and complete administrative tasks.

People Management:

  • Ensure all employees understand and comply with wage and hour guidelines.
  • Support and model the company's core values of safety, diversity, inclusion, integrity, and trust.
Job Specifications:

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or fuel environment.
  • Knowledge of cash handling and customer service.
  • Familiarity with computer software and equipment operation.
  • Understanding of sanitation and safety requirements for food storage and serving.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask, handle challenging situations professionally, and work independently or in a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High school graduate or equivalent and at least 21 years old.

Physical demands:

  • Walking, standing, reaching, grasping, and pushing buttons throughout the shift.
  • Bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching below waist frequently.
  • Lifting weights up to 10lbs continuously and up to 35lbs occasionally.
  • Working with equipment that can create high temperatures and exposure to outdoor conditions and cleaning supplies.

Compensation Range: $18.16 - $27.24 per hour.
