What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is looking for a Business Operations Specialist to join our Defense and Security team. In this role, you will collect and analyze data, identify trends, and develop visualizations to support the goals of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating data visualization and dashboard solutions using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
- Using Python and other tools to clean and review data
- Developing additional data visualization capabilities as needed
- Ensuring data quality and governance standards are met
- Creating training materials
- Analyzing current processes and identifying areas for improvement
- Leading client meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and documentation
- Summarizing and presenting reports to the team with recommendations
What You Will Need:
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to receive a DHS Public Trust
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ Years of Experience
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience with UiPath and Data Bricks
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
- Law enforcement experience
- Experience leading teams focused on developing analytic solutions
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience re-designing existing processes to meet evolving requirements
- Ability to provide guidance for specific projects
- Capability to manage multi-task projects
- Experience analyzing and defining system requirements
- Ability to facilitate meetings and present to diverse groups
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to anticipate and respond to management and client needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff
