**Position Summary**
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who can work effectively in a team-oriented environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities, assisting with equipment operation, and working towards maximum operating efficiency.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Communicate openly with team members regarding adjustments or corrections made to packaging equipment.
- Assist packaging personnel with equipment changeover and operation.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities, and suggest improvements to maintenance routines.
- Repair equipment by replacing broken or defective parts.
- Collaborate with packaging operations to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Participate in activities such as team huddles and documentation development.
**Job Requirements**
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with automated controls and/or electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
- Preferred: Five (5) years of experience with automated controls, PLC troubleshooting, and electromechanical equipment.
- Must be able to work without close supervision.
- Must have a satisfactory attendance and safety record.
- Must be able to read and follow written instructions.
**Special Requirements**
- Dress code requirements include uniforms, hair covers, safety shoes, gloves, dust masks, and safety glasses as necessary.
- Training will be provided as needed to comply with FDA-cGMP's.
- Some exposure to product, dust, and grease in the work area.
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment testing.
