Job Description

We are looking for a caring and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Operations Supervisor at our Urgent Care facility. As a Supervisor, you will support our physicians and clinical staff in delivering high-quality healthcare to our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating administrative tasks in the medical practice, including managing front and back office operations.
  • Ensuring that our clinical staff is proficient and up-to-date with their certifications and licenses.
  • Assisting in the development and review of policies and procedures to maintain the highest standard of care.
  • Acting as a liaison between physicians, patients, and staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination of care.
  • Overseeing administrative support activities, such as facilities management, pharmacy coordination, and quality management.
  • Managing expenses within budgetary guidelines, including pharmacy and medical supplies.
  • Working closely with our management team, staff, and physicians to improve workflows and implement new procedures.
  • Preparing patient charts and ensuring all necessary items are available for the provider.
  • Setting up exam and procedure rooms appropriately for each patient visit.
  • Assisting providers during examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Performing back-office duties when necessary, such as managing patient flow and updating medical records.
  • Administering medications, conducting diagnostic tests, and conveying lab results to patients as instructed by the provider.
  • Being an advocate for the patient and utilizing appropriate resources to ensure their well-being.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • A valid California RN state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • At least three years of experience in a medical setting, such as the Emergency Room or Urgent Care.
  • Leadership experience is highly preferred.
